About The Provider

Tina Storage, MD, joins Adventist Health Glendale with extensive experience and expertise in gastrointestinal disorders. Previously, she was an assistant clinical professor in digestive diseases at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Storage attended the University of Southern California on a full academic Trustee Scholarship. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in neuroscience and biology and a minor in public health. She was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and was one of only two undergraduates to receive the Phi Beta Kappa award for her academic achievements and leadership in community relations.

Subsequently, Dr. Storage earned a medical degree from the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and is a member of the renowned Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Stanford University and returned to UCLA to complete her fellowship in gastroenterology, where she served as chief fellow and received the Compassionate Care award. Her research interests include colorectal cancer prevention, colorectal cancer screening adherence, gut dysbiosis and the use of nutraceuticals to improve the quality of life in patients with chronic GI diseases. She is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine and is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.

Specializing in general gastroenterology, Dr. Storage has clinical expertise in colorectal cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), celiac disease, GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), peptic ulcer disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, functional bowel disorders (irritable bowel syndrome, chronic constipation, dyspepsia), SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) and gastrointestinal endoscopy. She speaks both English and Farsi.

Dr. Storage also has a passion for and clinical interest in functional gastroenterology, the gut microbiome and the use of nutraceuticals to heal the gut. She completed certification as a gluten-free practitioner under the direction of Dr. Tom O’Bryan and earned functional gastroenterology certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).
