About The Provider
A skilled internal medicine specialist with decades of experience, Dr. Matsumoto cares for adults ages 21 and older for concerns such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and more. Prior to joining Adventist Health White Memorial, he was a physician and leader at St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles.
In addition, Dr. Matsumoto has been a longtime health advocate for the Japanese American community in Los Angeles. Among his roles, he was a founding board member of Japanese Community Health, Inc., founding director and co-CEO of Third Street Surgery Center in Little Tokyo, and president and a founding board member of Koreisha Senior Care & Advocacy.
In his free time, Dr. Matsumoto enjoys pursuing his interest in art. In addition to English, he speaks Japanese.
