About The Provider
Shellie Finck is a family nurse practitioner who sees patients of all ages at her Gresham Station office. She is particularly interested in chronic disease management and patient education.
After more than 20 years as a registered nurse in the Adventist Health Portland medical-stroke unit, Shellie completed extensive coursework and training to become a family nurse practitioner. “While I loved caring for my patients in the hospital setting, I wanted to concentrate my practice in the prevention of chronic diseases by promoting healthy lifestyle choices,” Shellie explains.
Shellie’s background in floor nursing, along with being a certified medical-surgical nurse (CMSRN) and having NIHSS Stroke Certification, gives her a unique perspective in her work as a primary care provider.
Shellie is married and has a son and a daughter in high school. As a family, they enjoy camping, hiking and mountain biking on various trails throughout Oregon. A native of Hawaii, Shellie especially loves spending time at the Oregon Coast.
