About The Provider
Dr. Sheila Lezcano joined the White Memorial community in 2017 to practice rheumatology at the Boyle Heights Clinic. Dr. Lezcano completed her fellowship, residency, and internship at Loma Linda University Hospital Medical Center, and went to Loma Linda University School of Medicine for her medical education. She is a fellowship trained rheumatologist, and board-certified internist. She chose rheumatology as her specialty as it allows for continuity of care in rare, complex conditions. She is passionate and a strong believer in caring for the whole person, not just their disease state. This means a comprehensive way of approaching each patient’s experiences, beliefs, and a treatment plan that will suit them best. Dr. Lezcano is experienced in caring for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Scleroderma, Osteoporosis, vasculitis, myositis, and joint pain. She was born and raised in Los Angeles and is excited to serve in this community.
