Patients of all ages appreciate the personalized care provided by physician associate Shaylyn Murphy, PA-C. “I love using a combination of evidence-based medicine and relationship to help my patients make health care decisions,” she says.
Shaylyn wants patients to know they’re not alone and shouldn’t be embarrassed, whether they have an urgent illness like strep throat or a more ongoing condition like obesity, diabetes or anxiety. “My faith has taught me that having a safe place to be vulnerable is the key to healing,” she explains. “I want to offer that to my patients.”
Shaylyn has a Master of Physician Associate Science degree. She enjoys fishing, camping and travel. Her family includes her wife, two teenagers and a three-legged dog.

I LOVE SHAY MURPHY!!!She is the BEST. That's why I travel almost 2hrs just to see her. Great listener and tend to your needs. Explain everything very well. Let's you know what meds to take for our issues. I am not the only that Loves her. I have Family and Friendls who say the same thing.

I absolutely love Shay. She is such a great listener and really cares about trying to get to the bottom of things, is patient with me when I have lots of questions, and really takes time to explain things to me. If I'm uncomfortable with a certain treatment she proposes, she doesn't hesitate to give me options and gives me the pros and cons of both. She doesn't pressure me, but gives me the information and space to choose myself. I recommend Shay to everyone!
