Sharon Elkins Lapuebla, FNP

Sharon Lapuebla, MSN, FNP-C, brings more than 20 years of nursing experience and will treat individuals starting at two years of age through adulthood. Among the conditions cared for are hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, asthma, sexually transmitted infections and urinary tract infections. She is also invested in providing preventative health care, health maintenance and management of chronic diseases.
Sharon possesses a strong commitment to her work. She had this to say about her pursuit of a career in nursing, “I wanted to make a difference in the lives of our patients and in our community. I strive to encourage patients to be engaged in their healthcare. My goal is to improve health outcomes, in partnership with patients, through health promotion and disease prevention so they can enjoy healthier and more fulfilling lives.”
Born in the Philippines, Sharon started her medical training at Adventist University of the Philippines where she earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She then came to the United States where she continued her education at Walden University located in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she garnered a Master of Science in nursing.
In her down time, Sharon enjoys spending time with family and friends at the beach, hiking, camping and traveling. She has been married for 23 years and has four children.
