Shamsuddin Khwaja, MD

Shamsuddin Khwaja, MD, is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with more than 25 years of experience caring for patients.
Dr. Khwaja has trained at centers of excellence around the nation and completed training in surgery with distinction.
His areas of care include coronary artery disease, heart valve disease, endocarditis and heart failure.
Dr. Khwaja was born in Pakistan and grew up in Los Angeles, where he dreamed of becoming a doctor. He now loves having the gift to help others heal.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Khwaja enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and assortment of pets, including a dog, cats, horses and a duck.
