Board-certified surgeon Sarah Lawson, MD, performs a wide range of diagnostic procedures and surgical treatments. She considers it an honor to care for patients with her medical knowledge, compassion, precision, and experience. “I find it rewarding when I can help treat a surgical problem and make a difference in a patient’s life,” she says.

A lifelong fascination with science and anatomy inspired Dr. Lawson to pursue a career in medicine. She grew up in the Pacific Northwest, earned her Doctor of Medicine in Louisiana, completed her residency in Arizona, then returned to the Northwest. She now enjoys sharing her expertise with patients of all ages in The Dalles and surrounding area.

“I want people to feel well cared for, listened to, and a part of their medical decision-making process,” she adds.
