About The Provider
Sandra Navarro-Gonzalez, FNP-C, ensures general surgical patients receive the highest quality care throughout all stages of the surgical process.
She became a nurse practitioner because, as a child, Sandra saw her parents struggle to communicate with caregivers due to language barriers. In her role, she is able to practice culturally inclusive medicine by directly communicating and partnering with her patients.
Sandra has been married for 31 years and has three children. She loves spending time with family, and also giving back to the community by volunteering for the Dinuba High School Medical Pathways program.

Our initial contact was pleasant but later I felt scolded and not listened to, She was abrupt. One example when I asked Sandra if she was going to call in a prescription she had mentioned earlier she replied testily No I will email the prescription. Sandra may have had a tough day before she saw me, but I can think of nothing I did to make her respond to me the way she did,

Sandra was very thorough with the results of the colonoscopy. She explained what I should do to prevent diverticulitis pain and the reason for it. No Dr had ever done that!

Sandra was very good at explaining matters to me, and she gave paperwork with totals of fiber in different foods, and recommended a cereal or fiber gummies or Metamucil for the correct amount of fiber needed in a day. Also a note about how much water a day is optimal.

Np was very good to me. I also had my autistic granddaughter with me. She put her at ease so we could conduct the business at hand. That impressed me alot. My granddaughter was very scared. We left with her talking and singing
