Robert Thomas Galasso, MD

Dr. Galasso has more than 10 years of experience as a wound specialist, practicing hyperbaric medicine at Adventist Health’s Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine clinic. He is certified in wound care by the American Board of Wound Management, and in hyperbaric medicine by the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine.

Prior to his work in wound care, he practiced Emergency Medicine for 20 years and continues to maintain his certification by the Board of Certification in Emergency Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, studied medicine at the University of Brussels in Belgium, and returned fluent in French. He received his MD degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then trained in Internal Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, OR. As a young man he spent summers working as a river guide on the Colorado river based in Moab, Utah, and still enjoys white water rafting trips with his wife and 2 children on rivers in Washington, Idaho and Oregon.
