Reiker Schultz, MD, is an internal medicine physician and has been caring for patients in Sonora since 2014, after completing his internal medicine residency at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Schultz is a third generation physician. All three Schultzes, son, father and grandfather, graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine to become primary care physicians. Also remarkable, Dr. Schultz was celebrated as the 10,000th student to earn a medical degree from Loma Linda University, which saw its first medical graduates in 1914.
In his practice, Dr. Schultz has a particular interest in prevention and helping his patients use lifestyle methods to prevent and control chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, heart failure and obesity.

Doctor Schultz is an amazing doctor! He listens and gives great advice towards any health care issues that I have. He answers all of my questions and keeps a very close eye on all of my labs! Very kind and a very professional doctor !!

Tends to type on computer more than listen. I was concerned about my PSA lab results being high. Doctor said that it it was high before. Didn't even do a prostate exam!
