Pericles Ioannides, MD, provides expertise in state-of-the-art technology using radiation to target and treat all types of cancer in adults, including lung, brain, spine, head and neck, breast, prostate, gynecological, sarcoma and skin cancers.
“We have a unique ability in radiation oncology to offer treatment to cure cancer, improve our patients’ quality of life and most importantly, provide hope to our patients,” Dr. Ioannides says. “I strive to treat every patient like they are a member of my family and pray for their healing and recovery.” While in medical school, Dr. Ioannides’s roommate developed lymphoma and was cured with radiation therapy. “He has inspired my pursuit of treating cancer,” he explains.
Dr. Ioannides has published several peer-reviewed articles and has lectured and presented on topics including neuroscience, proton therapy, lung cancer, salivary cancers, and spine metastasis.
Away from work he enjoys running and spending time with his wife and son.
