About The Provider
Board-certified physician Nadya Friedman, MD, specializes in psychiatry. Dedicated to helping adults cope with psychiatric illness, she provides comprehensive care and treatment for a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder, among many others. Always fascinated by the human mind, Dr. Friedman pursued a career in medicine more than 25 years ago. She has worked extensively with patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, student counseling centers, clinics and shelters. She has taught and supervised psychiatry residents and also presented research at national psychiatric conferences. Originally from New York, Dr. Friedman enjoys ice skating and likes to spend time with her dog.

Dr. Friedman was cold and stern and had some questionable things to say. Which is not what I needed from my psychiatrist in my very fragile mental state.
