Listening is a skill and practice crucial to medicine, and I feel Dr Bashir listens and then communicates very well, and this improves overall care. He thinks out loud and explains his reasoning for my care and acknowledges we are working as a team. He can diagnose and suggest healthful habits, but the patient must endeavor to follow the prescriptions of care the doctor indicates.
