About The Provider
Mitchell A. Goettman, DO is a board-certified general surgeon, providing compassionate and restorative health care through general surgery and laparoscopic procedures.
He completed osteopathic medicine school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, and served as Chief Resident during his General Surgery Residency at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Wyandotte, Michigan. He completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Dr. Goettman served a two-year mission in Sacramento where he translated for the Hmong community and provided support for their awareness and education of a variety of health concerns, including Hepatitis B.
When not at work, Dr. Goettman enjoys a variety of hobbies, including hiking and running, as well as spending time with his wife and children.
