Miriam Laura Tapia, NP

Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner Miriam Tapia is known for delivering high-quality, compassionate, whole-person care and managing complex chronic conditions. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and has experience in public health, employee health, and primary care — including veterans’ health.

Miriam emphasizes disease prevention and helps adults ages 18 and older with conditions such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, chronic kidney disease, respiratory and urinary tract infections, and more. She enjoys building meaningful relationships with her patients and helping them take control of their health and improve their quality of life.

Born in Peru, Miriam immigrated to the U.S. when she was 24. She is fluent in English and Spanish and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, especially her six grandchildren.
