Michael Justin Pico, MD

As a physiatrist — a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation — Dr. Pico loves helping his patients regain mobility and function so they can live with less pain, improve their quality of life, and return to the activities and hobbies they enjoy. 

Dr. Pico sees patients ages 18 and older for issues such as spinal spondylosis (arthritis), spinal radiculopathy (pinched nerve), degenerative disc disease and sacroiliac joint dysfunction. He performs epidural steroid injection, medial branch block, peripheral nerve block, radiofrequency ablation, sacroiliac joint injection and intraarticular facet joint injection. 

Dr. Pico moved to California from New Jersey and loves the outdoor lifestyle on the central coast. He enjoys weightlifting, watching tennis and soccer, playing board games and spending time with his wife.
