Michael Angelo Gaglia, Jr., MD

Board-certified physician Michael A. Gaglia, Jr., MD, specializes in interventional cardiology. He treats a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, pulmonary embolism, deep venous thrombosis, and superficial venous insufficiency, among many others. He has a particular interest in limb preservation in patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia.

With care and compassion for every patient, Dr. Gaglia brings significant experience to his practice. An expert in highly-specialized cardiology treatments and procedures, he has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed articles, authored book chapters, and edited the textbook “Antiplatelet Therapy For Vascular Disease.” He has also served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Southern California and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of New Mexico.

He enjoys running, hiking, golfing, traveling, and reading about history. He and his wife, also a physician, have two teenage sons.
