Melissa E Hill, PA, PA-C

Board-certified physician assistant Melissa Hill, PA-C, has cared for surgical patients for more than 40 years, and today she works alongside Adventist Health cardiothoracic surgeons to provide DaVinci robotic assisted surgery plus many more advanced procedures and post-operative care.
In addition to receiving training as a physician assistant and a bachelor’s degree in allied health while living in Ohio, she earned a master’s degree in community health administration and wellness promotion from the California College for Health Sciences in National City. Additionally, she is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants and Medical Reserve Corps of Los Angeles County.
Melissa believes every healthcare discipline plays an important role in patient care, including patients themselves. She also is an advocate for the profession and shadowed by physician assistant, nurse and pharmacy students who want to learn more about the profession and opportunities to specialize in the field. As well, she donates her time to encouraging high school students to explore physician assistant and other medical careers.
When not caring for patients, her interests include youth hockey, cooking and traveling.
