Matthew Hileman, OD

With nearly 20 years of experience, Dr. Matthew Hileman is bringing specialized medical eye disease management to Lake County. He is driven by the human connection with his patients, who start at age 2 and span through our most seasoned citizens.
Dr. Hileman most commonly treats dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, refractive error and cataracts.
Growing up, Dr. Hileman’s father was a healthcare provider so he spent a lot of time at his office after school. Being around that environment, he was inspired to care for patients from an early age.
He is a member of many professional optometric associations. Outside of work, Dr. Hileman enjoys golfing, spending time with his teenage son and coaching baseball. He has coached for the past 15 years at all levels from seven years old through high school varsity.
