Maria Sophia Francesca Perez, NP

Certified nurse practitioner Sophia Perez, FNP-C, specializes in oncology and hematology. She combines clinical expertise with meaningful relationships, guiding patients through complex diagnoses with clarity, empathy, and hope.

Originally from the Philippines, Sophia spent the first 19 years of her career as a nurse, after which she pursued advanced training to become a nurse practitioner. She provides comprehensive adult oncology and hematology care, including cancer screening, diagnosis support, chemotherapy and targeted therapy management, symptom management, survivorship care, treatment education, and coordination of multiple oncology services.

Sophia approaches every patient encounter with compassion, respect, and a deep commitment to treating the whole person — body, mind, and spirit.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys making meaningful memories with family, especially traveling together. She’s married and the proud mom of two wonderful children. She fluently speaks English and Tagalog.
