About The Provider
Lindsay McHugh, FNP, has a background in general family medicine, but her passion for pediatrics drew her to focus primarily on infants, children and young adults. Her goal as a primary care provider is to be safe, evidence-based, approachable, collaborative and understanding.
In general, Lindsay sees patients age 25 and younger. She also sees patients of any age for urgent needs when appointments are available.
“I like to work with my patients collaboratively to create a plan of care that is holistic, fits their lifestyle and is realistic,” Lindsay shares. “I love each developmental stage of pediatrics for different reasons, from the nuanced new-mom questions to teen preventive health.” She wants patients and their families to feel heard and be active participants in their healthcare.
Lindsay attended Seattle University to complete her Master of Science in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner, graduating at the top of her class and receiving a variety of awards and recognitions. She was named a Paul Ambrose Scholar for her work in preventive medicine and chronic disease management. While in Seattle, she worked with immigrants and refugees and volunteered with a Native American diabetes prevention and chronic disease management program.
Born and raised in the Northwest, Lindsay and her husband moved to the Columbia Gorge to be near family. They enjoy heading out with their dogs for running, hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, backpacking and exploring all the Gorge has to offer.

Lindsay is always so sweet and helpful. She lays out the facts with kindness and never makes you feel like you have a stupid question. She Is real and honest about motherhood and some of the experiences she's had as a mom, which makes me feel a lot better (if a medical professional can have some of the same experiences as a mom, then I'm not alone!). It feels like she truly takes the time to be there with you and doesn't make you feel like she's in a rush to get to the next patient (which I've had happen with other providers at this clinic, so that really means a lot to me!). I really appreciate her! Also, as a first time mom they've been so kind to me as I worked through breastfeeding for the first time, job changes/difficulties, and postpartum depression. They are so supportive and caring and I always feel like they truly care. Keep up the good work!!!

I really appreciate Lindsay including my daughter, Hannah, in the care conversation. She always asks for her opinion and listens to what she has to say.

Lindsay worked extremely hard to keep my son at ease when trying to remove fishing hook. She did all the appropriate research and spoke to the pharmacist about the best antibiotics to be given. Lindsay McHugh always goes above and beyond to care for my kiddos.
