Lindsay M Burton, MD

Lindsay Burton, MD, specializes in obstetrics and gynecology, offering comprehensive care for women of all ages. From family planning and menstrual issues to pregnancy and childbirth, pelvic issues, menopause and beyond, Dr. Burton is passionate about helping women achieve their best health.

After completing her residency training at University of California, Irvine, Dr. Burton stayed with the university as an attending physician, providing full-scope OB/GYN care and supervising resident physicians.

Dr. Burton is committed to providing quality care for underserved populations. “I enjoyed taking care of the most vulnerable patients in Orange County and Long Beach,” Dr. Burton says of her experience at UCI Health. While working in Southern California, she also provided high-quality, evidence-based care for incarcerated women at the Orange County Jails, offering compassionate care for an often-forgotten population.

Dr. Burton was inspired to become a doctor by her experience working with family planning OB/GYN specialists at the University of Chicago, where she worked after earning her undergraduate degree from Harvard College. She worked as a medical assistant while completing her pre-med studies and went on to earn her medical degree from Washington University.

Growing up in the Bay Area, Dr. Burton has fond memories of many weekends and summers spent in Big Trees and Arnold. “I’m thrilled to be living closer to my parents who now live in Arnold,” Dr. Burton explains. In her free time, she loves hiking, swimming and any excuse to be outdoors. Her favorite place, aside from the Sierra, is Kauai.
