Lin Juan “Sarah” Li, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine. She enjoys building long-term relationships with patients of all ages and backgrounds. “It is such a humbling experience to have a patient who feels comfortable discussing their worries with me, allowing me to help them from a medical perspective,” she says. “Likewise, it is rewarding to see the progress patients make in achieving their health goals.”
Sarah completed her physician assistant studies at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. She chose a medical career because of the valuable lessons she learned while being part of a family member’s care team. “It fueled my desire to be an advocate for others,” she says. “The experience also presented opportunities for me to work alongside a mélange of medical professionals. I was able to explore the intricacies of medicine, and my enthusiasm grew.”
When interacting with patients, Sarah encourages taking an active part in medical decisions and health.
Both at work and away, Sarah finds joy in meaningful relationships. She loves spending time with family and close friends. In moments of solitude, Sarah expresses herself creatively by writing and playing the piano.
