Krithika Umesh Peshwe, MD

Krithika Umesh Peshwe, MD, is a neurologist who treats a wide range of conditions involving the brain and nerves, including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, and motor neuron disease.

Growing up in India close to her grandfather who had ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig’s disease) inspired Dr. Peshwe to pursue medicine so she could help others facing neurological disease. She finds it gratifying to care for patients and provide treatment that makes a difference in their lives.

Along with her clinical experience, she has co-researched several studies in national and international medical journals and has volunteered at health awareness events in India and the United States.

Dr. Peshwe enjoys singing, painting, and playing the Veena, a stringed musical instrument. She fluently speaks English, Marathi, and Hindi.
