How long as a physician: I became board-certified in family practice in 2002.
Family info: I live with my two delightful children, husband and mother-in-law.
Hobbies: I enjoy exploring new places, playing piano, making collages, playing with my children and building things with my son.
Why I enjoy family medicine: I love the full spectrum of family medicine. Each day is totally unique. You never know what you’ll see in the next room – a pregnant woman, the baby I recently delivered, a 95 year old or a family room spanning three generations of patients.
The privilege of getting to know these families and how they interact with each other and the community provides the dimension of caring for the person – not just the patient. Having the opportunity to pass the torch of knowledge to the next generation of physicians keeps the passion of medicine burning strong.

Dr. Fordham is a kind, knowledgeable doctor. She listens, she takes the time to help you. S a patient I always feel heard,helped and taken care of. I feel she has a rare quality that makes her an excellent practitioner. She also will respond and get back to you in a timely manner through the patient portal.
