Kelly T Bishop, MD

Surgeon Kelly T. Bishop, MD, specializes in a broad range of surgeries including hernia repair, gallbladder removal, colon, small bowel, appendectomies and more in both adults and children.

Dr. Bishop earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles before attending American University of the Caribbean for medical school. She held a surgical residency at the University of Buffalo in New York with a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Passionate about helping others and her community, Dr. Bishop became a surgeon because she wanted to help people and provide quick improvements to their health. Dr. Bishop’s articles have been published multiple times about surgical conditions and techniques, with a strong interest in advancing techniques for patients’ benefits by being actively engaged in clinical research and new technologies.

When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Bishop enjoys rock climbing, hiking, cooking and spending time with her husband, family and friends. She speaks English, French and Spanish.
