Keith Jeffrey Stelzer, MD

Board-certified physician Keith Stelzer, MD, PhD, specializes in radiation oncology. He brings 35 years of experience and provides customized treatment for breast cancer, prostate cancer, and metastatic cancer, among other types.

Dr. Stelzer cares for each patient individually and wants them to know that they are the most important person in the world to him in that moment. “I enjoy helping people understand a complex disease with complex treatment options and exploring their personal values and priorities to make treatment decisions together,” he shares.

Service to and leadership in oncology and medicine have been hallmarks of Dr. Stelzer’s career. He has chaired the Southwest Oncology Group brain tumor committee, directed the University of Washington radiation oncology residency program and served as the Mid-Columbia Medical Center Medical Staff President. He is a member of the Adventist Health Columbia Gorge community board member and has co-authored more than 70 peer-reviewed scientific papers.

As leisure time allows, Dr. Stelzer rejuvenates outdoors by fly fishing, swimming, hiking, and snowshoeing. He and his wife have two adult children.
