About The Provider
With physicians occupying most of his family tree—including both parents—Dr. Lee says it was never a question he would follow in the footsteps of so many of his family members. Although he considered becoming a cardiac surgeon or orthopedic surgeon, the influence of a medical resident he admired when he was in medical school steered him toward cardiology.
A chance meeting with a Glendale cardiologist while Dr. Lee was visiting his sister in California brought him here from Philadelphia, where he had planned to practice. Now, more than 20 years later, he continues to earn the trust and respect of his patients for giving them time to fully explain their situation and concerns, as well as ordering tests only when they are necessary.
“The vast majority of diagnoses come from the patient’s medical history,” he says, “so taking time with my patients helps me know them better and often reduces the amount of testing required.”
