Joseph Edward Beeney, PhD

Dr. Joseph Beeney is a clinical psychologist who cares for adolescents and adults ages 12-65. He sees patients at Adventist Health Howard Memorial’s Redwood Medical Clinic in Willits and Adventist Health Mendocino Coast’s Medical Offices in Fort Bragg.
Dr. Beeney received his bachelor’s in Psychology from Humboldt State University and then to Pennsylvania State University for his master’s and PhD in Clinical Psychology.
In his practice he sees patients for common conditions he helps to treat such as developmental trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders and borderline personality disorder. He has a focused interest in helping people to have great relationships that are critical to their mental and physical health while listening, understanding, and empathizing with patients to partner with them in their journey toward finding relief from symptoms, greater self-compassion and self-understanding.
