Jose Pablo Ponce, DPM

Jose Ponce, DPM, a California native, was born and raised in San Luis Obispo. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from UC Davis with an emphasis in neurobiology, physiology and behavior, and a minor in Spanish. Dr. Ponce completed his medical school training at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, after which he moved back to California where he finished his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and affiliated hospitals where he was trained in reconstructive foot, rearfoot and ankle surgery, as well as limb salvage and management of problem lower extremity wounds. During residency he received certification in hyperbaric medicine through the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. Currently, Dr. Ponce treats all foot and ankle ailments and is a member of our Limb Salvage Team. He has a passion to help the LA community, and became a part of our Medical Staff in August 2015.
