John Chijioke Ihejirika, MD

Dr. John C. Ihejirika is a board-certified family medicine physician with more than 18 years of experience caring for patients and families.

Seeing the compassionate care his mother experienced while hospitalized first inspired him to pursue medicine when he was just eight years old.

As a family medicine specialist, Dr. Ihejirika provides a range of preventive care options for adolescents and adults. He regularly treats diabetes, hypertension, obesity and asthma.

Dr. Ihejirika earned his medical degree in Nigeria and practiced there for six years before relocating to California’s Central Valley in 2017.

He loves being able to help his patients lead happier, healthier lives.

When not busy at work, he enjoys cooking, playing and watching soccer, exploring the country on road trips and spending time with family.
