Yes, Doctor take his time to listening!

As I mentioned, I came to see Dr. Vasquez out of concern that I had over-exercised and could have incurred a hernia. He was extremely attentive, examined me and told me I did not have a hernia. But he explained that my risk was indeed higher due to having major emergency abdominal surgery, and he shared helpful information about how to manage that risk etc. He also advised on what to look out for and answered my questions about whether I would need to come back. I felt very relieved and also confident that if I needed further care, I would receive it -- I trust Dr. Vasquez more than other doctors due to the exceptional care he has provided since I got sick. I feel that the way he performed my surgery and his subsequent support have enabled me to make a great recovery -- better than I might have hoped. While what happened to me was scary and difficult, I was also lucky that Dr. Vasquez was my surgeon, and am deeply grateful to be doing so well.

Again, I went through a very traumatic experience -- a true life-or-death emergency. I feel extremely fortunate that Dr. Vasquez was the one who performed my life-saving surgery and credit him with setting me up for a (hopefully) excellent long-term recovery. He showed me and my partner a degree of caring that exceeded any expectations or hopes we could have had. We are very grateful that he is a surgeon in our area.

Dr Vasquez gives his full attention, asks questions and works with me to find the best path forward. You feel secure in the knowledge he has your best interests at heart. I feel so blessed to have Dr Vasquez.
