James Isherwood, LCSW

James Isherwood is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in psychotherapy for patients who are 18 to 65 years of age, through every stage of adulthood. “Mindfulness and compassion are at the core of my work with my clients,” he shares.

With behavioral health experience spanning more than 30 years, James has dedicated his career to the mental wellbeing of others. He has worked in group homes, schools, rural health clinics, executive management, private practice, and the public service sector as a supervisory and lead clinician.

Today, James offers individualized assessment and behavioral health treatment for a wide range of mental health disorders and concerns, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders, among many others.

Outside of his work providing personalized care for patients, he finds enjoyment in skiing, hiking, traveling, and meditating.
