Jack Philip Silva, MD

Jack Silva, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive upper gastrointestinal (GI) and general surgery. He uses advanced techniques to help patients return to optimal health and function.

After earning his medical degree, Dr. Silva completed his residency at Los Angeles General Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in foregut and minimally invasive GI surgery at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Silva treats adults ages 18 and older with conditions like acid reflux (GERD), hiatal hernia, trouble swallowing, abdominal and groin hernias, gallstones, and more. He offers robotic and laparoscopic surgery, anti-reflux procedures, hernia repair, and emergency surgery.

A Los Angeles native, Dr. Silva enjoys soccer, hiking, and exploring new restaurants. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, daughter, and their rescue dog. He speaks English and Spanish.
