About The Provider
Dr. Hector De Jesus is a board-certified internal medicine physician with more than 25 years of experience caring for his community who is now serving patients through the Adventist Health Wound Center. He is committed to helping individuals heal from chronic and complex wounds through personalized, compassionate care.
Inspired to pursue medicine by his own health challenges as a child, Dr. De Jesus is passionate about partnering with his patients to support healing, restore function, and improve quality of life.
In his wound care practice, he treats conditions such as diabetic ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, and slow-healing sores.
He is passionate about helping his patients feel better while keeping faith at the forefront of his practice. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. De Jesus is fluent in Spanish.
When not caring for patients, he enjoys traveling, music and food. He and his wife have two children.
