About The Provider
Dr. Andhavarapu, known as “Dr. Dhar” to his patients and their families, has a special appreciation for how hard it is for parents to see their children sick or hurting. He is dedicated to preventative care and helping his young patients manage common ailments and chronic health conditions effectively. He has a special interest in allergies, asthma and weight problems.
Dr. Dhar enjoys living in the Central Valley because of its size - “not too big, not too small” – and easy access to metropolitan areas and his extended family. He and his family also enjoy the friendliness of the community and remember how welcome they felt when they first moved to the Valley.

Dr Dhar always answers my questions and always gives my son a high five or knuckles before we leave.

Dr. Dhar has been our Pediatrician since my son was born and he has been such a lifesaver. He listened to every concern I had during my 1 year old's checkup and gave me great medical advice and recommendations. He has always been straightforward and we love that about him. He continues to support spreading out vaccinations that I preferred without pushing me to get it all done at once cause yes as a first time mom the schedule scares me. With Dr. Dhar, we feel our concerns are being heard and discussed about always.

Did not listen to the needs of the appointment, made me feel like a poor parent for not getting the flu shot at that time and considered it a refusal of vaccines even though I said I may get it at a later date. Was not the most cooperative

Dr Dhar has been very informative and straightforward on what to expect for all my sons appointments, procedures and the likelihood of what we would be dealing with In the aftermath of Illness since he was assigned our Pediatrician at birth. He has answered every single question me and my husband have had especially being first time parents and it's such a relief to know that our son is being taken care of by him. He is always happy when we see him for our appointments and makes sure we have an understanding on what to expect from our child from that appt to the next. Very approachable and caring.
