Emily did not provide any guidelines for post procedure care. I was not aware of having an endometrial biopsy that day. I was under the impression it was only an ultra sound appointment. She provided information on why the biopsy was important and I agreed to the procedure that day. However, when it was completed, the only thing she asked was if I wanted a heating pad to help with the cramping and provided a sanitary napkin because there might be some light bleeding. I had to google what I could/could not do the next day and whether I could have sex. Fortunately I did not have any issues, but some post procedure expectations and directions should have been provided

I don't know if she was having a bad day but her attitude was very indifferent and I didn't feel comfortable with her coldness when I was asking about different health care options concerning my visit.

She didn't bat an eye when I told her that my last two cycles were 65 and 70 days, respectively, and that I was still on my period and it had been 8 days. She offered several times to refer me to OHSU for IUI or IVF. I'm 24 and have only been trying for 2 years. My husband hasn't even gotten a seven analysis yet and she almost seemed to propose IVF/IUI as my only option. She mentioned only once that I could get prescribed something to force my body to ovulate, and I believe that was after my mom, who I had brought with me for emotional support, mentioned it.

I would have liked to had more time as a couple issues where not addressed. They always seem to be in a hurry.

Ms. Peterson was very friendly, approachable and professionable. She was careful to ask me if there was anything more that I would like to discuss before moving in in each topic, and carefully explained each item item under discussion.

She did not listen, refused to refer me to a rheumatologist (the whole point is the visit) and made me feel rushed and told me she had another px to get to after she asked if anything else needed to be discussed.

I only put "good" because I feel like we are still in that getting to know each other stage and have the visit not feel like you are meeting someone for the 1st time. Definitely getting better! I like to feel like I can trust my provider and she can trust me. Getting there!
