About The Provider
Board-certified physician Druanne LaPlante, DO, specializes in diabetology. With 25 years of medical experience, she provides personalized treatment for all aspects of diabetes, including hyperlipidemia, obesity, hypertension, and related conditions. “I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families,” she says. “I am reminded every day of the interconnectedness of all of us. When my patients have success, I feel joy.”
Dr. LaPlante grew up all over the world, but Oregon has always been home base. She chose a career in medicine because it blends her passion for science with her personal mission to help people. “I try to treat others with the love, kindness and respect God has shown me through the people He has put in my life,” she shares. Outside of work, Dr. LaPlante enjoys pickleball, kayaking, and cycling. She has one adult daughter and two chihuahuas.

Doctor forgot what my medical condition was and told me to change something but I reminded them and they were fumbling to change what they said. No details on what I should do to be on top of my disease just "you're the healthiest patient" and no explanation of numbers from data on pump
