About Christopher K Kruebbe

About The Provider

Christopher Kruebbe, LCSW, CADCI, CAIS, is a dedicated licensed clinical social worker and certified alcohol and drug counselor with a unique specialization as a canine-assisted intervention specialist. Together with his therapy dog, Quinn, a certified member of the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, they form an empathetic and healing team. Christopher’s expertise extends to addressing a range of mental health challenges including PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar conditions, dissociative identity and substance misuse.

His practice is inclusive, serving children, adults, geriatric patients and diverse communities like the LGBTQIA2S+. Christopher’s expertise extends to innovative therapies like eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and accelerated resolution therapy (ART), enhancing his ability to treat trauma and other mental health disorders effectively.

Christopher’s innovative approach to therapy is enriched by his completion of the Canine Assisted Intervention Specialist program at the University of Denver. Beyond his clinical work, he is an active volunteer with the American Red Cross as a disaster mental health professional and contributes to the Nehalem Bay Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps and the Community Emergency Response Team.

When not providing care, Christopher enjoys hiking, kayaking, beach walks with Quinn, record collecting, gardening and volunteering in his community. His ties to Louisiana keep him connected to his roots, which he visits as often as possible. At Adventist Health Tillamook, he and Quinn bring a compassionate, human-animal intervention approach to their clients, enhancing their therapeutic journey.
