Christina Pavelko, DO, is an osteopathic physician dedicated to helping people feel better and understand their health more fully. Specializing in family medicine, she provides skilled, whole-person care for a wide range of physical and mental health conditions and welcomes patients of all ages, from infants to older adults.
Originally from Texas, Dr. Pavelko spent most of her young adult life in Colorado, where she pursued college degrees in biology and psychology and attained both with high honors. She then moved to Missouri, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathy, and finally relocated to Virginia, where she completed her residency in family medicine.
Today Dr. Pavelko embraces life on the Oregon coast and enthusiastically contributes to the health of her local community. In her leisure time, she likes walking, cooking, painting, reading and spending time with her three dogs and two cats.

I didn't feel like the doctor understood that I have many health conditions that have gone untreated for several years because I didn't have health insurance. I felt like she thought I was just being a hypochondriac when I fact I wanted to get referrals since I now have health insurance and can get treatment for my health conditions so that I can be the best that I can be.
