About The Provider
Dr. Brittney Mensen is a board-certified internal medicine physician. A former NCAA Division 1 athlete, she worked as a personal trainer before beginning her medical career, designing programs for people of all ages and backgrounds. That experience taught her to “think outside the box” and provide care highly individualized to each patient.
“I’m excited to help patients realize that improvements in lifestyle are often better than a prescription for a medication,” she says.
Dr. Mensen graduated from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi. She recently worked as both an internal medicine physician and inpatient hospitalist at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska.
Dr. Mensen is married and has two cats. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, trail running and snowshoeing.
