As a brain and spine surgeon, Dr. Hendricks helps adults ages 18 and older with nerve pain, neck and back pain, brain tumors, traumatic brain injury, degenerative and herniated discs, spinal stenosis, spinal arthritis and more. He specializes in advanced, minimally invasive spine and cranial surgeries, including disc replacement, spinal fusion and craniotomy. In addition to his clinical expertise, he has pioneered numerous medical innovations and helped develop technologies that are transforming the field of neurosurgery.
Dr. Hendricks grew up on a cattle farm in Indiana. He and his wife have five children and two dogs and in his free time he enjoys cycling, home improvement and studying philosophy.

Dr. Hendricks really listened and took in all my concerns. He answered all my questions and showed me what was wrong with my spine, he explained everything fully.

Dr. Hendricks is very intelligent, listened carefully, had empathy, and understood my condition all while remaining sensitive to my situation. And he actually took time to go over my actual imaging. I felt so much better and validated by Dr. Hendricks as he has the training and education to actually understand a patient like myself with a rare disorder.
