Bashir Bahram, MD

Bashir Bahram, MD, is a family medicine physician serving at Adventist Health Medical Office locations in both Taft and Shafter. In his practice, Dr. Bahram addresses a wide-range of medical concerns including preventive care, acute conditions as well as chronic illnesses like heart disease, stroke, hypertension, diabetes management and asthma.
Dr. Bahram is highly motivated in his practice. He strives to help others and had this to say about his philosophy, “I take great pride in the work that I do. It is my calling. I began practicing medicine out of a genuine desire and sincerity to help others.”
Post-secondary education for Bahram started at University of California in Los Angeles where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He then proceeded on to the American University of Antigua where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. Upon graduation he joined the residency program of New York Medical College at Saint Joseph’s Family Medicine in Yonkers.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Bahram offers patients a care philosophy embracing compassion, patience and an excellent ability to communicate. He is a native of California and is thrilled to be able to serve in the place he calls home.
