About The Provider
Ashlyn Taulbee is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Meeting her patients where they’re at and empowering them to make the changes they want to make is what breathes life into her work. “I get a lot of joy helping patients who aren’t active and helping them find an activity they can enjoy doing on a regular basis to reduce a host of health issues,” Ashlyn says.
After completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Shawnee State University, Ashlyn took her Master of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University and became a board-certified family nurse practitioner.
In addition to helping people with physical activity, Ashlyn loves talking with patients about how to fuel their bodies to meet their own needs and medical situation. She works very personally with her patients and makes sure to follow up with them so they get the help and support they need over time.
A competitive athlete herself, Ashlyn also works with high-performing athletes. While she has the expertise to help athletes with their unique nutritional and training needs, she really appreciates working with kids and adults who don’t naturally love exercise. “I really care about meeting people where they are and working together to plan realistic goals that make them happier and healthier,” she explains.
A native of Ohio, Ashlyn is looking forward to getting into hiking now that she’s in the Pacific Northwest. She’s joined a local competitive track club and enjoys running and lifting regularly. Ashlyn also enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, creating recipes and crafting.
