    The NP never performed even a rudimentary physical exam. Since I was being seen for evaluation for upper endoscopy, poking on the abdomen to check for epigastric tenderness or masses or hepatosplenomegaly, or listening to heart and lungs or looking for mucosal pallor for anemia should have been standard during an intake screening exam.
