Board-certified physician assistant Alexis Thompson, PA-C, specializes in primary care. Enthusiastic about creating positive healthcare experiences for patients, she provides preventive care, acute and chronic disease management, and personalized wellness plans for her patients. “I love providing education to patients and allowing them to have involvement in their health decisions,” she says.

After a loved one faced terminal cancer, Alexis decided to pursue medicine to help people by becoming a trustworthy healthcare resource. Previously she provided behavioral therapy to children with autism, and that further inspired her to provide a sensory-friendly environment for patients and families.

“I want to make seeking medical care as accessible and stress-free as possible,” she shares.

Born and raised in Lansing, Michigan, Alexis seeks fun and relaxation through nature photography, hiking and camping. She also enjoys baking, watching sports, weightlifting and putting puzzles together.
