Abhinay Walia, MD

Dr. Abhinay Walia is a board-certified family medicine physician who is passionate about building deep relationships with patients and families. He was inspired to pursue a career in medicine after needing emergency surgery at just 14 years old. Complications led to a lengthy hospital stay, which sparked his fascination. As a family medicine physician, Dr. Walia treats patients of all ages and offers a range of preventive care services to keep families healthy. He especially enjoys treating multiple generations within the same family. He is originally from Toronto, Canada, and is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. In his free time, he enjoys photography, collecting vinyl records, reading, traveling, and staying active through sports. He and his girlfriend share their home with two dogs and a mischievous cat — all beloved members of the family.
