Ricardo Salas, MD, is a medical oncologist practicing with Adventist Health. As a member of the comprehensive cancer center, Dr. Ricardo specializes in working with cancer patients of all types with a special emphasis on breast, lung, lymphoma and leukemia.
Growing up in a migrant farming community, Dr. Salas was inspired to pursue a career in medicine from an early age. His desire to give back to the community and serve others led him to receive his Master of Public Health degree from San Diego State University in San Diego, CA, before completing his medical degree.
As a medical oncologist, Dr. Salas is passionate about his specialty, and provides the very best in comprehensive cancer care and survivorship support, while empowering his patients, their families and the community.

    Dr. Salas is amazing! He always gives time to explain every question that I have. I Always leave feeling better then I did when I arrived,and he gives me great advice on how I should proceed moving forward, as well as what to expect. I consider him a friend as well as one of the best care providers I have ever had. I feel blessed to have him as my oncologist.
